The MHMA board meeting was held on24-May-26. The following meeting minutes were recorded:

Agenda & Minutes

• Eid Preparation and execution. Board awareness on complete plan (Main agenda topic of meeting)
  • Asad S walked through the complete EID playbook and plan with detailed tasks, their status and owners. 
  • We reconfirmed activities and how we would execute along with the City Council part 
• Masjid Project Progress & Follow-Ups
  • City Hearing: They are pushing to July. No spots opened until then. We are working with them to pull it back
    • What is blocked? Recording of the sub-division is blocked. Once hearing happens, then the mylar needs to be signed by all parties in the city(this process takes a few weeks)
  • The hearing process does not impact construction process. Our architecture drawing continues and once it is done, we can submit to City. Architectural is in-progress. Our original estimates was $60K, negotiated and locked it in on $26K. Timeline for submission to City: will try to get submitted mid-end July; then 4 weeks for City/County to respond; If comments another 2-3 weeks to respond; then another 2-4 weeks from City to respond/Approve (or additional comments)
  • Work with Tawheed to create a contract for all things construction
• MHMA Reinstatement Update
  • Submitted 1023 and tax docs to Barbara. She is back on may 25^th and will start the final process
• MHMA Tax Update
  • We will be following up with Barbara our attorney on remaining tax forms after the reinstatement application has been submitted to IRS. We do not want to start parallel conversations until this big task is completed
