  • UC Deck Project Update & UC renovations for Ramadan
    • What problem are we trying to solve with the deck?
      • Entry from main door with all shoes in front, causes disturbance
      • Entry from back of UC will be good, shoes can be left outside – only if the deck is covered/pergola or tent – rain/winter will ruin shoes
        • We agreed to move forward as someone is ready to sponsor and we have Scouts to help build this with help from Waqas
      • UC Renovations for Ramadan – 1) Fence to cover around the turf area 2) install a play area on the turf 3) 2 Basketball hoops
        • Main reasons for these is to ensure kids safety while Taraweeh and other activities in the turf area. If kids are playing within fenced area it gives peace of mind.
        • Baketball hoops – instead of going to CP and playing BB in park unsupervised, kids are within the UC property and adults/parents can keep an eye
        • Budget Ask: $15 for the above – Fence, play area, BB hoops, flood lights
        • Board Vote: Approve UC renovations for Ramadan to support above objectives – All Board members present approved unanimously
