- So far, we have not received sponsorships for Iftar. Draft separate messaging for iftar sponsorship and a separate note clearly articulating $250/family for Ramadan expenses (not iftar). Start a campaign with community
- Eid Fair update
- Faisal bhai asked around in Tracy where there is a weekly fair, they hire each individual vendor separately for a month and organize the tracy fair.
- Mechanical bull; face painting, photo booth, jumpers, horse riding, petting zoo, magic show are some activities we organize at Ramadan
- Flood Light rental:
- Umar bhai received quotes for $900/month for 2 lights or Purchase 2 lights through party rental
- We also discussed the ideas on installing permanent flood lights on containers(both sides). This will not require continued storage, securing or moving effort that flood lights require. It is a one-time effort to install. All agreed we should move forward exploring with this option

- Decision makers? This is BOT per bylaws. The two in question are Jummah collection and property tax payments. We will discuss these are the next full-board meeting and get BOT to align
- MHMA Non-profit updates
- Core team met, discuss communication from Barbara, 1023-detail needs to be completed. Umar bhai will be completing this ASAP, target 1/25. Outstanding discussions with United Tax
- Ramadan FR
- FR target for Masjid Construction – FR Committee to set
- MHMA Committee Policy review
- Provided feedback on the policy.
- Asad S shared nuances between giving and taking authority outside of bylaws. Policies and procedures are operational documents and clarify how we should execute vs transfer of authority to someone of away from someone (as note in bylaws). We all agreed with this
- Others to review the policy and finalize by end of next week. If no other comments, we will review and incorporate feedback provided and put the policy in force on a set agreed date
- New Committee to liaison with LUSD – Form it as a sub-committee under PR committee and get going
