The Mountain House Muslim Association (MHMA) is a 501(C)(3) religious non-profit formed in 2011. The initial purpose of the organization was to establish a local Masjid to fulfill the needs of a growing Muslim population in Mountain House.
The organization has evolved to cater to the growing needs of the Muslim residents of Mountain House while staying true to its original mission. Today, the MHMA operates many programs that fulfill the needs of every age group and a diverse community. Some of these programs are listed below.
WISH, the Weekend Islamic Social Hub
The WISH program primarily provides a weekend Islamic school program for grades 1 to high school and a senior’s social club. However, its charter is expansive, and we plan to expand the scope of its programs as the community needs grow.
Boy Scouts
The Boy Scouts offer scouting activities for boys and girls registered with Boy Scouts of America and following the organization’s rules and guidelines.
Seniors Club
We have two independent senior programs for men and women focused on providing an enabling environment for seniors to do whatever activity they like and feel comfortable doing.
Youth Clubs
We have several youth clubs, including sports (Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball), Robotics, and Lego building.
